Nordic Offset and Perspectives Climate Group are partnering to provide companies with comprehensive services in climate change consulting and sustainability consulting.
The collaboration especially focuses on furnishing businesses with the tools and support they need to develop their emissions pathway in accordance with the Science-Based Targets initiative, and to offset their carbon footprint with high-quality projects.
Knowing the climate impact of the business is a crucial part of a company’s environmental sustainability work, and companies are paying increasing attention to climate change in drafting their strategies. Legislative changes resulting from climate accords set the preconditions for business. It is therefore necessary to plan climate action in the long term as well.
One of the goals of the Paris Agreement is to limit the global temperature rise to no more than 1.5 degrees Celsius. The Science-Based Targets initiative was launched to help businesses develop climate goals in line with the 1.5 target. More than 1,300 companies are already involved, and more than 480 of them have defined and committed to measures in line with the 1.5-degree emissions pathway.
